Thank you, City of Oakland, for Enabling us to Help Small Businesses Adapt to COVID-19

We're thrilled to have received an order from the City of Oakland for 1,000 units of our Low Cost Sneeze Guard which will be distributed for free to small businesses throughout the city.

City staff have also asked us to help coordinate delivery and distribution by local partners who can distribute to businesses in the highest COVID-impacted ZIP codes. Watch for updates in this space.

In addition to this project, the City of Oakland is also responsible for the creation of a $4m loan fund for small businesses, procurement of PPE and other supplies for small retail and restaurant businesses, its Flex Streets program which enables easier use of outdoor space by small businesses, and much more.

We at Port Labs recognize that small businesses are a vital part of our local economy, and we're excited to be doing out part to help those businesses open and operate more safely during this pandemic. We're grateful to have the support of the City of Oakland as we meet the needs of those small businesses in the face of this health and economic crisis.
